Hackney CVS is Hackney's leading voluntary and community sector support agency and your local Council for Voluntary Service or CVS.

We provide hundreds of people to run successful voluntary and community sector organisations by giving them access to the key skills, knowledge and resources to respond to the needs of local people, especially those most in need.

  • Our annual turnover is £2.8m
  • We have 17 staff
  • Our Exec Committee has eight members (3 BME, 3 women - many of whom are senior staff or directors of local VCS organisations)
  • As leads in developing a Hackney COMPACT, we recently won a COMPACT excellence award.
