The eight winners of the first Adiaha Antigha Community Achievement Awards were announced to huge rounds of applause at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Celebration event on 12 March 2008.
These awards recognise those people in the voluntary and community sector who have made an outstanding achievement to the local community.

The winners of the first Adiaha Antigha Community Achievement Awards
In total eight people and organisations were awarded, one for each of the six original categories, who received a certificate and gift in the form of an Aloe Vera plant known for its healing properties and chosen to represent growth for the VCS.
We also gave certificates to two extra people for special recognition of their services.
