About The Adiaha Antigha Community Achievement Awards

 

Adiaha Antigha  

In February 2008, HCVS announced the the first Adiaha Antigha Community Achievement Awards, an annual awards scheme to recognise contribution to life in the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in Hackney.

 

These awards are in memory of Adiaha Antigha, left, founding director of HCVS. Adiaha Antigha was a champion for Hackney’s voluntary and community sector.

A panel of HCVS trustees and staff judged each nomination and the awards were presented at our AGM on Wednesday, 12 March at 2.30pm at Community Centre for Refugees from Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, 151 Whiston Road, Haggerston London E2 8BN.
