HSCF is a voluntary organisation with membership open to all voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations and groups in Hackney and the City with an interest in well-being, health and social care. Thriving Healthy Board: Black & Ethnic Minority Working Group (BEMWG)
BEMWG is one of the borough’s leading community networks for voluntary and community groups working in health and social care. BEMWG aims to reduce inequalities in health and social services for black and ethnic minority communities and ensure that black and ethnic minority communities receive the type of services that are accessible and culturally appropriate to their need. Together with HSCF, BEMWG relates to the Thriving Healthy Board.

Economic Development: Economic Development Network (EDN)

Cross Cutting Networks
For 2009, the CEN are funding 15 community networks whose work is decribed as ‘cross cutting’ in that they do not fit neatly within one of the five priority work areas and Boards of Team Hackney: Children and Young People, Better Homes, Thriving Healthy communities, A Safer, Cleaner place to live and Economic Development. Safer Young Hackney Network
In July 2009, the CEN organised an event bringing together people from VCS groups who provide support to divert young people away from committing youth crime. Out of this came a need to form a network of community providers working in this area.
