Delivery of wellbeing and social care services will change radically in 2010, this is called personal budgets or the transformation agenda. In Hackney, this work is being led by a Transformation Board and eight Working Groups at Hackney Council.
Hackney’s Community Empowerment Network (CEN) is looking for experienced, pragmatic people from the voluntary and community sector (VCS) to sit on four of these Working Groups.

Do you understand the issues for small VCS organisations as well as the priorities of Hackney Council?

Could you represent the diverse voices of VCS providers?

Could you work productively with the local authority in small working groups to ensure the changes happen in a way that will work for Hackney?

Could you feedback the results of complex meetings in a way we can understand?
