The Learning Trust and Hackney Council for Voluntary Service (HCVS) are running a three year pilot project for organisations that work with, or otherwise deliver services to the children and young people of the borough.
The project, the Workforce Strategy Partner’s Programme, is funded by the Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC), the government body responsible for promoting the development of staff and volunteers in organisations that work with children and young people.
The project builds on research undertaken last year into workforce development within the sector and in particular the barriers faced by third sector and private organisations in accessing opportunities for staff development and training. You can download this research below.
