Hackney Funding Programme 2009/10

Hackney Council is inviting voluntary and community sector organisations and groups based in Hackney to apply for 2009/10 Hackney Funding Programme.

 

There will be an event on 8 July to launch the programme. HCVS will provide support workshops in August and September. Details of both are below.

Funding is available to support activities that fit with the objectives below:

  • Objective 1 - Cohesive Communities - Contributing to cohesive communities by reducing inequalities.
  • Objective 2 – Promoting health and wellbeing - Supporting independent living and tackling health inequalities by promoting health, well being and healthy lifestyles.
  • Objective 3 – Citizenship and pride in Hackney and its environment – Facilitating and encouraging more people to get involved as active citizens in community life.
  • Objective 4 – Advice Services – Delivering social welfare advice against the priorities set out in the Hackney Advice Strategy.
  • Objective 5 – Improving outcomes and life chances for children and young people - Encouraging healthy lifestyles, improving services for families with children with disabilities, safety, increasing education and training opportunities for 14-19 year olds, and play in each of Hackney’s four neighbourhoods.
