Opportunity to tender: Training providers in Hackney Meet the Commissioner event: 2.00pm – 3pm Thursday 7 February 2008

With Speaker, Sonia Antoniazzi Head of Commissioning - The Learning Trust

121 support with writing the tender: 10am – 5pm 14 Feb, 20 Feb and 25 Feb 2008. The Learning Trust are running Meet the Funder workshops at Hackney Council for Voluntary Service (HCVS) for help filling out the tender.

Hackney Children’s Services Third Sector Awareness Raising Event

Do you work with children & young people?

 

Delivery of the Every Child Matters and Youth Matters agendas in Hackney raises many challenges for the Private, Voluntary and Independent sectors working with children and young people.

The local Children’s Services workforce and the responsibilities that individual organisations are required to meet is one key issue for many Private, Voluntary and Independent sector providers in the borough.

Over the next 3 years in Hackney, we want to focus on how we meet:

§ Key workforce skills and qualifications

§ Essential quality assurance standards

§ Safeguarding responsibilities for children & young people and

§ Local Area Agreement outcomes

Team Hackney Community Small Grants Application workshop

Wednesday, 26 September 2007 - 11am - 1pm

 

Join us at HCVS office to find out how to make a winning application for a grant of between £1,000 to £5,000 under the Team Hackney Community Grants programme.

 

Elizabeth Adebola from HCVS Grants Team will go through how to complete the application form step by step.  Elizabeth is also on hand to provide advice on ideas for projects.

 

Lunch is provided.
