To improve our email news service, the HCVS Information Service, and better meet the needs of our members we conducted a short survey.

This was sent out to members of HCVS and current members of the HCVS Information Service. This survey is also completed by new members when they subscribe to the service.

Frequency

We found that most of you prefer a weekly email with a summary of news and information. 57% who responded prefer to receive a weekly email, rather than daily, twice weekly or monthly. 80% prefer to receive a summary email rather than individual emails.

Hot topics

The hot topic was funding and grants information selected by 95% of respondents. This was closely followed by capacity building, training and advice with 82%, and 68% of you wanted to hear about Hackney. BME, children and young people’s groups came out as the top beneficiary groups you wanted to hear about.
