This was a service run in collaboration by HCVS, LawWorks and a law firm. We are not currently taking appointments for this clinic, it is under review.

However if you have a legal query, below is information on where you can go to get help.

Where the enquiry is from a voluntary amd community sector organisation / charity / social enterprise:

LawWorks is a small independent charity which matches volunteer lawyers with opportunities to use their skills for the public good (pro bono). The Choices project is designed to match unemployed lawyers with pro bono activities. The solicitor members are always looking for opportunities to undertake pro bono work. In addition to this email service LawWorks offers a brokerage service for small not for profit groups in need of casework assistance from a solicitor.

If the matter is contentious (i.e. involving court or tribunal proceedings) and/or urgent, refer to the Interchange Legal Advisory Service: www.interchange.org.uk Interchange provide a free initial consultation and then further advice at reduced cost.
