Family Concern

Who we are

Family Concern is an inclusive and dynamic community organisation. We work with families with young children to tackle the root of crime and anti social behaviour in the community.

 

 “76% of Hackney Residents feel that Youth Crime gives them more concern that other crimes and anti social behaviours in the community.” (Extract From Hackney Crime Audit November 2001)

Mission Statement

To Make Our Community Safer By Providing Appropriate Information, Advice, Counseling, Training, Facilities And Events Which Supports And Strengthen Families Of All Backgrounds In Every Area Of Their Need.

We work with

We work with parents of children and young people, including lone parents, couples and stepfamilies.

Services we offer

We provide information, advice, and counselling in debt and money management, sexual health and drug prevention. We run workshops and seminars in these areas. We hold courses for parents to access, acquire and apply the necessary skills to keep their family together, strong and healthy.
