Ignition is a programme aimed at assisting NEET young people who are interested in the Culture and Creative industry. All applicants will be assisted by Lifeline’s experienced and qualified staff to develop an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and go through a skills assessment to identify and then strengthen any skills aspects if required.

As part of the programme we are also offering the opportunity for young people to be assisted in finding a career as well as equipping them with the necessary skills to gain employment as well as an opportunity to get onto other programmes such as music production, sport and event training or even social enterprise.

Real Life: Real Theatre

The essential introduction for anyone interested in building up a career in Creative and Cultural industries, Real Life: Real Theatre will give you insight into all the work that goes on outside of performance in Hackney Empire’s busy offices. Whether you’re looking to eventually work on the administrative side, or perform yourself, this is the necessary training scheme to get your foot in the Creative and Cultural industry door.

Stage Write:

This is an intensive artistic project giving emerging writers, directors, and actors the opportunity to work with professional artists in each of the fields above, and showcase their talent and skills in a performance in the studio theatre.

  • Part 1: Playwrights and Writers
  • Part 2: Directors and Actors
