Courses and Workshops February

Hackney CVS are offering a wide range of courses in February and March. Upcoming sessions include: Health & Safety and Risk Essentials Training, Essential Excel Training, Support to Apply for Funding and more.

Mental Capacity Act Awareness - Understanding the MCA and how to assess capacity
This course is for staff who need to assess people who lack the mental capacity to make their own decisions about their care and safety. (Training offered by Hackney Council)

Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards - Awareness and impact on practice
The course assists staff to identify when someone’s liberty may be restricted or deprived and to enable applications for a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguard. (Training offered by Hackney Council)

Essential Excel Training
This course is for anyone from absolute beginners to those with limited knowledge of Excel. Participants will learn about the elements of the Excel interface, creating a basic worksheet and creating formulas in a worksheet.
