  • London Children's Book Swap- 25th Feb

    08 February 2012 - Shoreditch Trust’s Waterhouse Restaurant hosts Hackney’s venue for the London Children’s Book Swap. In Hackney, Children and families can visit Shoreditch Trust’s canalside Waterhouse Restaurant on the 25th February from 11am to 3pm and bring along old books to swap and get new stories to share. There will also be free boat trips courtesy of Laburnum Boat Club, illustration workshops, book giveaways, story-telling and plenty more.

Therapeutic reading groups differ from traditional 'book groups' in that all reading is aloud, and materials are chosen with relevant themes to promote discussion among group members.
